Question #1:

Is this transparency? I think it is a step in such a direction.?

"The site is fixing errors that appeared to show hundreds of millions of stimulus dollars were spent in nonexistent congressional districts, the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board said Wednesday."

Errors? Nonexistent congressional districts? How does someone make a simple 'error' and CREATE congressional districts that frankly are imaginary?

The transparency is this: This administration is a sham.

"Arizona's page, for example, showed the state's 52nd, 15th and 86th congressional districts received hundreds of thousands of dollars in stimulus money, according to CNN affiliate KNXV. However, no such districts exist in Arizona, which has only eight congressional districts.

The districts didn't exist, but the money and jobs did, Obama administration officials have said. And the people who are to blame are recipients who apparently didn't know which congressional district they were in, the officials said."
I see lots of thumb-downs for people agreeing this administration sucks but I dun see their comments because they are immature children.

Question #2:

If the new Health care plan puts me out of a job can I thank those who voted for Obama & the Dems in Congress?

The plan would most likely take away 60%-70% of business for the company I work for which is health plans. There are a lot of small branch offices or independent Advisers that do nothing but health insurance.

So when those guys and their assistants and administrators are out of a job can we thank the Obama voters for that?

Can the Obama voters sleep well knowing the guy they elected is shutting down these small businesses, our office has 4 people and the comapny we are affiliated with has 2 people. Right there that is two companies shut down and 6 people. That might sound like much but that's just one business which the income not made will be alot less taxes the companies we work with won't have our business either losing them money too. It will be worse for the bigger small businesses that will most likely fall if this bill is passed.

Question #3:

I'm not trying to be direct but trying to make the best decision before I jump in. I want to get aboard the affiliate marketing train but do not want to be ran over and lose a ton of money because of a bad decision. Question #11:

do they represent obamas hope and change or is it scam and hide?

NEW ORLEANS – State investigators raided ACORN offices on Friday, taking away computer hard drives and documents as part of a probe into alleged embezzlement and tax fraud when the organization's national headquarters was based in New Orleans.

"This is an investigation of everything — ACORN, the national organization, the local organization and all of its affiliated entities, specifically as it relates to any potential violations of Louisiana law," Assistant Attorney General David Caldwell said.

ACORN staff on the scene declined to comment, but an attorney for the group said in a statement the raid was prompted by allegations that former ACORN employees had removed or altered electronic documents and may do so in the future.

Attorney Pamela Marple said ACORN was cooperating and called the raid exhaustive, saying investigators wanted "virtually every document in the possession of ACORN and any related entity."

The raid was the latest development for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Videotapes released recently showed ACORN employees offering tax advice to two people in Baltimore posing as a prostitute and her pimp. The videos led Congress and state governments to cut funding for ACORN.

State prosecutors said their probe into the New Orleans offices stemmed from allegations made last year by board members involving embezzlement at ACORN nearly a decade ago.

ACORN last year settled an internal dispute and a lawsuit involving accusations that Dale Rathke, the brother of the group's founder, Wade Rathke, made around $948,000 in improper credit card charges in 1999 and 2000. The Rathke family and a donor repaid the money and no charges were ever brought.

Last month, Attorney General Buddy Caldwell, the father of David Caldwell, said he would step up an investigation into allegations that the embezzlement may have been as high as $5 million.

ACORN said the $5 million figure was "a worst-case scenario" for what the embezzlement potentially could cost the group.

For 33 years, ACORN's national headquarters was based in New Orleans after Wade Rathke moved here in the 1970s from Little Rock, Ark., where he started the organization. The embezzlement scandal led the organization to move its headquarters to Washington, D.C., earlier this year, a move that allowed the national organization to distance itself from the Rathkes.

David Caldwell said he did not know which former ACORN employees removed the computers.

"We're going to grab the stuff, make copies," he said, "and get it all back to them so whatever entities are doing business with them are able to do so."

Question #12:

If making money on the internet is easy, why doesn't everyone get involved?

If there are so many ways to make money through ads and affiliate programs these days, why doesn't everyone go out and start a blog or make a website? What are the top reasons why most people fail?

Question #13:

I'm trying to determine if this is a pyramid scheme in Texas?

I have found a website that sounds good, but I want to make sure that it is not a pyramid promotional scheme according to Texas Business and Commerce Code Sec. 17.461.

It appears that the owner of the website is an affiliate with several merchants. It's free to join. There's no obligation to buy or sell anything.

He says that it's basically a way to get a percentage of what you buy online and you get a percentage of what your referrals buy. You're not buying products necessarily to resale.

The owner is also offering contests and bonuses to it's members to join and shop online. For instance, If you purchase something for $50, and have 10 referrals that purchases something for $50, then you will receive $5.00 bonus on top of the commission of making the purchase that you and your referrals make.

Of what I see:
it would not cost me anything to join,
I could save money by shopping online,
I could make money by referral friends and family, and
I'm buying a product that I would use, not like I am being forced to buy it.

The thing that has me concerned is: Is this a pyramid promotional scheme? If it is, I do not want to be a part of if because I do not want to try to get other people to participate in it. That would cause me to be in trouble too.

It might be too good to be true, but with no cost to join, I'm thinking it can't hurt. I looked at all the pages on this website and there are no places that require me to give him my credit card or bank information. He says that he will either pay by mailing a money order or by Paypal.

Please tell me what you think.

Question #20:

Should the last portion of this article be called SCORES in the boardroom?

Wouldn't it be really amusing if the RA in the catsuit in the boardroom on the conference table was actually an employee at SCORES???

Employees at Galleon recall some unusual scenes. Last summer, Mr. Rajaratnam asked a junior female analyst to buy a black spandex outfit from retailer Lululemon Athletica Inc. as part of a research project into the company, a hotly traded stock.

He then asked the analyst to wear the outfit at the firm's morning meeting, said people who were there. As employees giggled, Mr. Rajaratnam made the point that few consumers would pay so much money for the expensive outfit in a recession, these people said.

Mr. Rajaratnam then asked the analyst to walk back and forth on top of the conference table, said the people who attended. At that point, the firm's chief financial officer, Rich Scutte, urged the presentation to stop
At least Scutte was thinking with his big brain at the potential of lawsuits from all female employees for gender discrimination and harrasment. I believe if Raj had donned a spandex catsuit also and a pair of 5 inch man-heels and joined the RA on top of the conference table he might have reduced potential liability to Galleon. Of course that would have caused much more than nervous giggles at the morning meeting - I hope everyone had their cameraphones out and that the meeting was being podcast to Raj's affiliate offices. These days everyone has cameras on their laptops also so a full lenghth presentation can be burned and sent to whomever.
