What is the title of 30s or 40s film about a man losing touch with his family for 20 years after amnesia?

I'm looking for the name of an old b&w film about a man who lost touch with his family for 20 years or so after suffering amnesia.

PLOT: A family man gets into a tussle with a hobo near some train tracks, whereupon he strikes his head and forgets who he is. Meanwhile, the one who robs him (either getting his watch or wallet) gets hit by a train and killed and thus is presumed to be to be the man with with amnesia. The amnesiac wonders around for about 20 years until finally his memory returns and he makes his way back home. He gets to his old front door around Christmas time and peeks into the front window, noticing his grown up children with wives and families of their own and his aged wife happily surrounded by an extended family. The man decides not to disrupt this family that has obviously moved on, letting them go on with their lives, as he saunters away in a light snowfall.

This movie is a real tearjerker that was once parodied on the 1970s series Soap, where Chester Tate loses his memory and wonders off, away from home.

My daughter recently auditioned and was one of 67 out of 1000 children offered a slot for march, 2010 at swan/dolphin resort, audition / training event where supposedly many top film directors, agents etc will be there to scout out new talent. Cost is between $2000-$5000 plus hotel and travel expenses. They are called "The" ..... which is a very clever name because it is impossible to research on the internet??? I sense a scam..... not sure. Anyone attend one of their events or have info on them?

I saw it a year or so ago. you could tell it was filmed in the 80s or 90s-ish. It was about a teen age boy, maybe tween. who went on a ship as a cabin boy or something like that, and the ship was a pirate ship but i don't know if he knew it when he signed up. He makes friends with some guy in his 20s i think. The boy does something wrong but his friend takes the blame and gets whipped. the boy found a girl hiding in the cargo hold, she was like a run away. and he kept her safe and fed her. I think this was why his friend was whipped. The boy, his friend, and the girl get off the ship somehow and the boy is separated from the girl (they get on different islands) but are reunited. The bad guys were looking for a hidden treasure and I thought that the bad guy was played by the actor Alfred Molina, but I looked at a list of his movies & didn't see it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

They tied a pink bandanna around my arm

The smell of piss stung my eyes.
A blond haired guy with a jean jacket around his waist was clinging
to the bannister, crying.
I shoved him out of the way and went on up.

There were lawn chairs at the top,
folded neatly and stacked in the corner.
I stood on the landing, waiting for a door to open.
I watched the bar down below.
Paper-wrapped burritos piled on a table near an old man with white hair
and dark brown skin;
a dog at his side, mangy and sleeping.

The door opened and a midget shuffled out,
blood coming from his nose.
He laughed
and she laughed right behind him,
wiggling her finger at me.
He grunted something in Spanish and stumbled
down the stairs.
"Senor?"
I plucked a bed sheet from the hall closet before I went in,
and she grabbed my arm.
"Extra!"
I put it back and went to the edge of the bed.

There was still blood near the top of the mattress.
A ripped poster slumped on the wall: "A Mexican Opera!" The colors were faded
and most of the scene was unrecognizable.
Before I could ask about the blood, she was on me,
rubbing the sweat of her thighs on my stomach
as she unsnapped the buttons of my shirt.
Laughter right outside the door; a British accent
and the clapping of hands.
Her breath smelled like cigars and for a moment
the smell of piss was gone.
My bare back hit the mattress and I slid backwards,
her face landing in my crotch, her mouth chewing, her hair
stuck to her cheeks, the ceiling fan spitting dust,
while I waited for it without focus or care,

Are digital x-rays more diagnostic when it comes to dental problems?

I have a question in regards to digital x-rays. Are digital x-rays better at diagnosing cavities? I went to 2 dentists. One said I have a cavity and the other one cannot see it, but the one that did see it used digital x-rays, as opposed to the regular film strips. Are digital x-rays considered more reliable? Im' having symptoms on that tooth. Also, when printing the digital x-rays, do they usually come out big enough to see any small problems such as small cavities that cannot be seen on regular film strips? Thanks!

Oh my god, what happened to me?

Today was my play, I was SO nervous before, as I went up for my scene I noticed the actor that cues me missed a WHOLE PAGE! i missed 6 lines! So when he screwed me up, I blanked and messed up a bit, it was alright, but once the theater blacked out, so did I. I walked backstage, blacked out lost control of my legs and fell, but wasnt fully asleep I got back up in like 2 minutes...

what happened? passed out? faint? breakdown? I just want classification lol i seen this happen in films
