Please help me gain control of my web site and promote it?

Hi I am a webmaster student with basic knowledge of Dreamweaver flash Photoshop and visual web developer, I have an opportunity to maintain and promote my first web site, this particular web site is a lawyer’s website and the people who created it fell out with the client and “disappeared “ the client wants me to take over the site , update textual , video, and other streaming media ,promote the site , and list it on main search engines (search engine optimization, meta tags, submitting url ) . At the moment I am not sure where to start and how to gain control of the existing info on the web site and building a strategy

Please help this is my first opportunity to gain some practical knowledge of the industry.

.......for $175 or Rs. 7500....They, however, claim that this package costs not less than $930 or Rs.40,000............is it rily worth this much....and should i go for it?....i'd also like to know....do you rily need to have a tie up with google for "SEO".....n at the same time i've heard that in some cases as soon as u register for google adsense u get seo free..........plz i'd like to gather all the details as soon as possible...its very urgent and important....

I want the site to do well in organic searches, which usually entails a unique page for each part, and links between parts, yet I don't want the site to load a new Flash swf each time the user goes to a new section of the site.

We use flash to output our website. Yet search engine optimization is an issue.

We're thinking of creating websites that use HTML for the top section (Text in HTML codes so that search engines identify the site) but putting the rest of the site in FLASH at the bottom. Or is there a better way that doesn't require a Flash master?

I have a site that has done great in the search engine results (top 5 most general term in yahoo, 1st page google) that has had no flash, just basic html and good optimization. I want to add some very basic flash nothing too fancy, will this affect my search engine placement? I guess what I am asking is, do search engines look at flash as a negitive in all or some cases?

What are the odds of getting a job in your city?

Fact: I graduated a highschool and a college(both of them IT based), I have 2 years experience in a company in selling/marketing/programming. I speak 3 foreign languages. I have medium knowledge in several programming language(php/html/java script/mysql/flash) and picture editing(photoshop/corel draw) and I'm god at SEO(search engine optimization). Designed several web,sites, wrote and designed several articles for magazines, etc

So...my question is...would a man with this description find a job in your town? Because I live in Romania and in my city I can't find a job in mostly any field(of course leaving out jobs like shoe sale sman or selling tomatoes in the market). But what are the odds of a guy like me(22 years old) finding a job in a similar position in your town?. I ask because I just want to know if it's just my city/country that sucks or would I have the same fate in any city/country?
