how do i find a job with no degrees or certifications and a poor job history?

I am 34, female, have a high school diploma and two years of college where I studied to be a machinist and took a couple of welding classes. But I didn't complete the degree and I carry no special certifications. I also have moved around a lot because I don't know that I want to settle in one place permanently, and I have experience in a lot of different jobs and even a little bit of management experience. I have short job durations for the past 8 years because of poor life choices such as drug addiction( resolved for 7 years), being fired for any reason ( because of "right to work" states where you can be fired just because someone doesn't like you), and because of burning out on jobs quickly because I am not happy with most of the jobs I've had. I really want to work, but I don't know who will hire me with this kind of work history. I know from being a manager before that in the eyes of a lot of employers I would be a high risk to hire because of no job focus, moving a lot and short durations with companies. Does anyone have suggestions?

my yahoo not working with IE8?

IE8 32-bit with Vista. Saved my.yahoo as my home page. Everytime I need to sign-in. When I sign in, still unable to display my.yahoo customized page. Additionaly, page is still asking me to sign-in, but when I click on mail, it goes to my email acct. and works fine.

No problems with Firefox. IE8 was working, now suddenly stopped. The weird thing is I can access my account and Yahoo answers with no problems.

I removed history, cookies and added yahoo to my trusted site, still not working. also turned on compatability view, same results - nothing worked.

Anyone have ideas please?

1.) Is family history someone in the family's past who had cancer or specifically bone cancer?

2.) If a person's brother has a rare bone cancer, does that mean the sibling will then get it too?

My American history teacher says Robert E. Lee was the greatest general of all time but I disagree. I would have to say its between Saladin, Alexander the Great, Leonidas, or Napoleon. If you dont know who one of these men were then please don't answer.

I was unlucky enough to be referred to a mental health team for anxiety and phobias, and they spent their entire time trying to work out what caused all my problems. I had a happy childhood, a family with ups and downs that I would class as pretty normal, financial security, holidays, good friends, good family and stability. There was nothing that could have traumatised me. However, the mental health team frequently interrogated me, trying to get me to say there was abuse and that sort of thing.

I believe my problems are due to chemical imbalance. I have since discovered that there is a history of phobic illness in my family (family who I didn't know). It's a hereditary thing that has happened, despite lack of anything awful happening in our lives.

Why couldn't the mental health team understand this? Why were they so determined for me to have been bullied or abused?

good friends used to be in a relationship but we broke up, go to a lot of parties to gether and everyone always asks us iif we are to gether to which she replys "weve tryed but he just doesnt give me a spark" to which i think she does not find me a turn on (which is rather understandable i cd use with losing a few pounds) weve tryed not talking but it doessnt seem to work as eith i or her always ends up asking to speak again even after i told her that i "cant stand seeing u and want you out my life " but i was really upset an we didnt talk for a month ...kinda funny if ya think about it cas we both seem to be inderpendant people

about her:
she loves games :P ummm she loves star gate atlantis startreck ummm final fantasy pokemon digimon and nything sci-fi (she likes it within reason she doesnt go overbord no dress up or secren speech ect) shes a bit of a goth but not fully, she loves herself and is over secure (but i think its just a show ) she complains about servis of shops or facilities a lot even tho she doesnt think she does, she has got purple hair, idependant, has a posh voice (which i love about her) her family is posh her brother can speak frech german english and latin (she loves her brother) and is very intelagent (incontrast to me)

any ideas on how to "light her fire"
