My son has been acting depressed lately. He is starting to refuse his daily chore list so my husband and I decided to cut off his internet/television/movies/music/games/books/artistic media/phone/sheets on his bed/and heat to his room. We basically stripped his room down to a mattress (no box springs), on a concrete floor. We are sending him to his biological father's house for Thanksgiving. While he's my husband is going to rough up his floor with a sledge, and tear the drywall and insulation down in his room. He's also thinking about cutting off power to the room, but I think this is a trivial pursuit as my son won't be using electricity anyways. Should we try putting him on anti-depressants?
Also, my husband hates my son very much.

Should freedom of speech be regulated on political TV shows?

I enjoy politics and listening to both sides. But something crossed my mind about the responsibility of the media to not incite hatred, division, and insults. People in society I feel should no doubt have their freedom of speech and expression in every way. But in the media wild rhetoric can be damaging and create problems because millions people see and hear it.

Should political talk shows such as Beck, Olbermann, and other opinion shows have regulations so they don't incite too much division, hatred, or extremist mentality?

I feel they should not have their freedom of expression suppressed but it amazes me the irresponsible rhetoric they say sometimes. Should media continue on like it is or what is your suggestion?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 1 year and 2 months. We met online through a university networking site and instantly got on. We used to talk for hours online. We spoke everyday online for 5 months before finally meeting each other at university. We were even placed in the same student flat which we thought was a sign of fate! So it means we have basically lived together since the first day we met face to face.

We now live in a house with another guy, but this decision to live together was more out of convenience than anything, as we both needed a place only for 4 months as we are going abroad for a year of study and it was hard to find a place for 4 months only. Recently, things have not been good at all.

I told him I was a little worried about living together, that I didn't want it to mess things up and he said we lived in halls and things were fine and that would continue. I used to tell him he could do whatever he liked when he was on his own and have fun and he would say "i am happy when i am around you." I told him I didnt want us to spend too much time together and he would say 'you say it like its a bad thing :("

We have gotten into pretty big fights recently – mainly about sex (I want it more than he does...he can leave it til up to 3 or 4 weeks and even then it’s still like a chore to him). During those fights I saw a whole other side to him that really shocked me. After our last couple of fights, I have felt like we are strangers. I had never had reason to doubt him, but now I feel like I do. He said relationships 'just get crap' after a while.Thinks that all relationships end up the same and that after the honeymoon phase is over things get crap and its unnatural to be with someone after, its unnatural to ‘force’ things back to how they were...find that such a ‘high school’ point of view. He said that love is a stupid concept created and overhyped by the media...if that's the case, how could he have told me he loves me if the word 'love' holds on meaning to him?! Makes me wonder about all the things he said. I asked if he's got such a negative view because of past relationships and he just said 'all relationships end up like this'. I think that is such a juvenile point of view and if really feels that way, why did he get into a relationship in the first place? He said because he's seen me almost everyday for the past year and a bit that he's "bored of seeing me all the time". I suppose that is fair enough but ouch! He said just because he said things before, I have this idea he has to mean them forever. That is not true but some of things that he said were the nicest things anyone has said to me and if his feelings have changed towards me, he simply shouldn't be with me instead of dragging something on!!! He said I should stop thinking it’s always about me and that it’s to do with him. Of course it's normal not to feel 'in love' all the time and the intensity of emotions come and go, but if ultimately his feelings have changed, he should stop hurting me by making me believe he does care about me and just end it.

After our last fight he said he wants to go on a 'break', but didn't even define it for me, so I don't know what to think. I asked him what does it mean: are we still together? Can we see other people? Is it just some time for him to think about things? Does he just want some space alone? Can I not hug or kiss him? I need to him to define it for me so I know what my boundaries are and so he doesn’t play around with me you know. Later on that evening though, he was very huggy and we even had sex for the first time in 4 weeks! When we slept he also was cuddling me. I didn’t think that kind of behaviour was what people on a ‘break’ did? I hope a ‘break’ is not his way of just making an eventual breakup he’s already got planned in his head, easier for him.

I need space as well now because I can’t fully trust him at the moment and I am not sure if he meant all the things he said and don’t want to give all of myself to someone who will just throw it back at me.

We used to have such a fun sex life, but we’ve done all the toy stuff, lingerie, different positions and places...I think we were perhaps too open and comfortable sexually too soon. I feel kind of stupid of now because no one had ever seen that side to me and for me it was special to show it to him because I felt so comfortable. He used to always want to lick me out and make sure I ‘got mine’ first...now he doesn’t even care about sex at all. I miss it. I miss him sending dirty texts and talking dirty. He always used to refer to it as ‘making love’ but I would tell him not to.

How do i restore my .lnk files ?

Recently i accidently opened a .lnk file with windows media player and i didn't realise it had open all file types with this program checked and then it made every single .lnk file on my laptop try to open with windows media player so everything on my desktop and start menu all try to open with windows media player i try to create new shortcuts for everything but it still does it. i dont know what to do. It gets annoying having to go to the folder in program files to open anything all the time.
I tryed to uninstal windows media player but it left me with just blank lnk files anytime you open anything it asks you what program you want to use.

infact from any site the downloaded video is not working, but it works if it is downloaded by some other means and not with IDM.

Switching Computers... How do i connect my iPod to it?

Recently my mac broke and then i bought a PC. When I connect my iPod a window pops up and says "iTunes has detected a Macintosh-formatted iPod. You must restore this iPod before you can use it on Windows."
So i click restore and another window pops up and says "Are you sure you want to restore the iPod to its factory settings? All of your media and other data will be erased."
I'm assuming this means all my music will be erased if i sync up this iPod to my new computer. Is there any way i can have my iPod connected to the computer AND be able to keep all my music? Please help! Thank you!!

The Star Spangled Banner is practically a poem about a flag and has book like discriptions that a 5 year old could write. I will write a small snipit of a story right here. As the soldier drew in his last breath he whispered in a soft tone of voice, "I will find you god, and I will make you suffer with pain beyond your wildest dreams for terrorizing my life" the soldier died and plummeted to the dirt at the speed of a bullet. He lays silently while his flesh rots away and his bones are nawed by wild wolves.
