Question #1:

What do you think makes Obama a good President?

Me, I think he would make great President, just the wrong time for him to be one.

During our current economical times and war(s) we are fighting. We need someone with true leadership… This is not Obama…. Was the other party the right choice… No.., we had no true choices this last election, just people that wanted a job. And the best speech giver won… And where is this change I heard so much about?

Health care reform is needed, but not Obama reform. It is sad when you are at the doctor and he tells you to get some test done because after reform you will not get it as easy.

As with all new policies we as Americans are afraid we will lose our freedom.
It is what built this country… Not Socialism… FREEDOM
Yes give us your poor, sick, and hungry. We will not stand for hate, tyranny nore depression to take our right to freedom… As a country we shall rise above all and be successful, help those in trouble, but we will not help those that will not… help themselves…
Obama health care reform; Does take care of the sick, the tired and the hungry, but it helps those that can and will not help themselves. It provokes the drugies, the baby makers and the lazy… We as a country need to get off our bottoms and go forward and help ourselves… Me personally, I am not a slave to someone on welfare, but we all are.
Health care is a form of welfare… It will cost all employed tax payers something…
It will cost all tax payers and it will add cost to all consumers.
Small business; will have to raise prices to cover the add cost of health insurance…
Large companies will have to help support Obama care... And they wont do it for free
People it has to come from somewhere, where do you think it will come from?
The money tree? I hope you all know we just can’t print more cash… well we can but it raises inflation and makes the dollar buy less.

As a middle class American I am damn tired of supporting the people of this country who take from us with no respect the people that work, produce and stimulate this economy. The people at the corporations that received bailout money for poor business practice are whom I am talking about. And then receive our tax dollars as bonuses because the corporation is scared they will seek employment else where… Well I say let them go…
A loss of 30 billion dollars in a quarter… AIG shame on you and your thought process…
Well we all know it was nothing more then greed.
If an hourly employee had the same track record well you know… 10 percent unemployment all time high of unemployed workers… Is this Obama’s fault…
No… Clinton started the process DS Bush made it worse…
I will say this one time and time only… Saddom Hussein was a bad bad man and yes we needed to get him out of Iraq… How do we know they had weapons of mass destruction… we sold them to him when Ragan was president… Do you remember Oliver North?
Bush just went to finish daddy’s poor job back in the 80’s you and I know that was the primary motive… And for all conspiracy theorist, No Bush and Chaney did not blow up the trade centers…. Move on spend your energy else where… go hunch michelle moores leg or something.

Write your Congressmen tell them your version of America… And what we need to do… You elected that person to support you….

Remember; this country was made from people thinking at one time.

Question #2:

When Christie wins the election?

should he put an Obama biden bumper sticker on his Michelle Obama sized azz and shake it at the camera after his victory speech.

Question #3:

did you have any doubt obama stood in front of a mirror and watched himself talk?if so heres the truth?

BURBANK, Calif. – What's President Barack Obama's most annoying habit?

Practicing his speeches for hours in front of the bathroom mirror? Talking too much foreign policy at the dinner table?

No — first lady Michelle Obama said Friday it's his tennis game. When they play, the president usually wins.

Question #4:

Did she really play the race card?

Look, I'm not a supporter of our current President but I do believe in listening to both sides of a story.

My thoughts are on this speech by Michelle Obama. Did she "play" the race card?

Keep in mind that this was during the primaries.

Just to let you know, I wouldn't have supported McCain either. I'm not a Republican or Democrat. I'm a constitutionalist.

Dana, it is true that Rupert Murdoch is at war with President Obama. I mean, he's the one who owns Fox News (among many other media outlets).

Dana, Is any news reporting telling 100% of the truth when they do their reporting?

The media controls everything you can imagine.
Politics is nothing more than a game that uses the people as their pawns.

Just by the two answers I have here, you can see how much politics divide Americans.

Shouldn't we be supporters and defenders of the Constitution?
Grouchy Crab, perhaps what you say it true.

Question #5:

Is Obama trying to turn America into a police state? How else can you explain his spat with Fox News?

Obama wants the Chamber of Commerce to shut up.
Same for Humana.
Same for the Military.
Same for the CIA.
Same for Tea Party protesters.
Same for Talk radio.
Same for Wall Street.
And Same for Fox News.

Basically, anyone who does not worship him as the Dear Leader and as the annointed one gets on his enemies list. Anyone who dissents is called racist when the topic usually has nothing to do with race. We have to be able to question our president no matter his color. I think that Obama is straight up Communist, like his friend Hugo Chavez. I never liked Obama, but all the things that his detractors said about him during the campaign are turning out to be true. And not even Michelle Malkin or Anne Coulter imagined anything half as bad his war on Freedom of Speech and the Press. What do you think?

Question #6:

Isn't it time that we accept all Americans regardless of their sexual orientation?

Obama pledges 'unwavering'
support to gay causes, community

Posted on Oct 12, 2009 | by Michael Foust

WASHINGTON (BP)--Using some of his strongest language to date in siding with the homosexual community, President Obama told a gathering of the Human Rights Campaign Saturday that his commitment to their cause was "unwavering" and that his administration, before he leaves office, would end the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.

"I'm here with a simple message: I'm here with you in that fight" for homosexual causes, Obama, the keynote speaker, told those gathered at an event held by the nation's largest homosexual activist organization. "For even as we face extraordinary challenges as a nation, we cannot -- and we will not -- put aside issues of basic equality."

Unlike a speech delivered to homosexual leaders in June, Obama in his Oct. 10 address put no qualifiers on his pledge to end Don't Ask, Don't Tell. He did, though, repeat language in that June speech criticizing what he called "outworn arguments and old attitudes" about homosexuality -- language that was viewed by evangelicals then and now as condemning orthodox interpretations of Scripture.

Additionally, Obama repeated his stance for overturning the 1996 federal Defense of Marriage Act -- which, if reversed, could force every state to recognize "gay marriages" from other states. He also stated his opposition to those who would "enshrine discrimination into our constitution" -- a reference to a federal marriage amendment and presumably also state marriage amendments.

He made news by saying he would sign -- if it makes it to his desk -- a defense authorization bill that includes an amendment broadening the hate crimes law to include homosexual persons. There was some question as to whether he would sign it because it contains funding for a fighter plane engine he opposes. Conservatives say the hate crimes protections put religious liberties at risk.

"My expectation is that when you look back on these years, you will see a time in which we put a stop to discrimination against gays and lesbians -- whether in the office or on the battlefield," Obama said. "You will see a time in which we as a nation finally recognize relationships between two men or two women as just as real and admirable as relationships between a man and a woman. You will see a nation that's valuing and cherishing these families as we build a more perfect union -- a union in which gay Americans are an important part. I am committed to these goals. And my administration will continue fighting to achieve them."

Obama spoke to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) on the eve of a National Equality March in Washington that focused on homosexual issues. He thanked HRC for "the work you do every day in pursuit of equality" for those "who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender."

"Despite the real gains that we've made, there's still laws to change and there's still hearts to open," he said. "There are still fellow citizens, perhaps neighbors, even loved ones -- good and decent people -- who hold fast to outworn arguments and old attitudes, who fail to see your families like their families, who would deny you the rights most Americans take for granted. And that's painful and it's heartbreaking. And yet you continue, leading by the force of the arguments you make, and by the power of the example that you set in your own lives -- as parents and friends, as PTA members and church members, as advocates and leaders in your communities. And you're making a difference."

Bob Stith, the Southern Baptist national strategist for gender issues and representative of the denomination's Task Force on Ministry to Homosexuals (SBCTheWayOut.com), once again expressed frustration at how Obama characterized Christian conservatives. He also said Obama marginalized ex-gays.

"President Obama continues to portray all who disagree with him as those who 'hold fast to outworn arguments and old attitudes,'" Stith told Baptist Press. "The inference is that if an attitude is old it must be wrong. The constitution is an old document. The Bible is older still. ... It is adherence to those timeless teachings of Scripture that has made it possible for thousands of men and women to find freedom from a struggle for which they did not ask and one from which they desperately sought freedom. If our president truly wants to end discrimination, he will be equally passionate about the discrimination these heroic people face. He will care about their stories and fight for the right for their stories to be heard. Until he does, his passion and eloquence will ring hollow."

Obama said he and his wife Michelle sent "a message" when they "invited LGBT families to the White House to participate in events like the Easter Egg Roll." Obama's speech came one day after John Berry, a homosexual who is director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management said the time is ripe to pass legislation favored by the

Do you love obama.....?

i'm in love with Obama.!!!!!!!! =)

i love to his beautiful chocolate flavored lips on the television screen.
i fantasize about how good he is in bed.
i love to sit on the couch naked and watch his speeches on C-SPAN

I love him, love him, love him, and love him.

don't you?

Question #9:

Should Obama decline the Nobel Peace Prize?

Could you imagine the BOOST to his reputation if O-sham-a would telephone the NPP Committee and respectfully decline the Prize and suggest they offer it to some one else?

Instead of looking like another Clinton-esque clown who takes credit for other peoples' work, Obama could FINALLY do something that makes him look "Presidential" instead of "homeboy-ish".

WHO is advising this guy? Hilliary?

The "trash talk" he gave to George Bush on Inauguration Day...
The DVD gifts to the Brits...
The stupid IPOD with his speeches to the Queen...
The apologizing for America to Europe...
The bowing to the Saudi King...
The LYING of Michelle to the Olympic Committee...
Michelle wearing $500 tennis shoes to a SOUP KITCHEN....
and dare we mention ALL the broken campaign promises?

If Obama actually refused the NPP, it would be the FIRST act of mature and distinguished leadership that he's done in 10 months.

SOMEHOW.... I suspect he's going to accept it anyway.

What do you think?

Question #10:

Does Michelle Obama lie?

During her speech in Copenhagen she said:

"Some of my best memories are sitting on my dad's lap, cheering on Olga and Nadia, Carl Lewis and others for their brilliance and perfection"

Since Michelle Obama was born on January 17, 1964 and Carl Lewis competed in the 1984 and 1988 olympics she would have to be at least 20 years old sitting on her daddy's lap!

Can't either of these two tell the truth?

Question #11:

Why is President Barack Obama the best we ever had?

I can break this down so well, I bet many of you will be floored by how great I am at analyzing (and I plan on going into politics in 2012, and running for office!)

1) He is the first African-American man ever to be President of the United States. It's so gut-wrenchingly amazing, you have to pinch yourself. His "Yes we Can" speech is now immortalized in the hall of fame, and he beats out Malcom X, Jesse Jackson and Martin Luther King, Jr. as the best public black figure ever- and this also includes Harriet Tubman and Oprah Winfrey.

2) His debates with John McCain now sit on the toppels of history as the best EVER. No one else can touch his debating skills. Not even Hitler himself.

3) He publicly called Kanye West a "jack-ass" for ruining Taylor Swift's Best Female Video-2009 speech. No other President in USA history has ever been as bold to be honest like that.

4) His first lady, Michelle Obama (who btw grew up in my neighborhood in Hyde Park) is the opitamey of what a first lady should be all about: class. Despite her non-photogenic appearence (lets face it, she ain't Janet Jackson or Halle Berry), she still is better then the Bush gals or Clinton.

5) His speech about Universal Healthcare is the best pronounciation for the USA ever. EVER! This beats the Nixon years people! Even Michael Moore is supporting him. That shows you something. Is Canada and England can get by on U-Health care, so can the USA. No one is dying of cancer in Canada because of bad doctors, okay?

6) Finally, His is such a handsome man. Hotter then Kennedy for sure. And he's calm in his actions. A Nelson Mandela for the 2000s if you will. And Saturday Night Live is always doing fun skits about him. Think about it. No other President had as much press as Obama.

PS- W. Bush is still known as the worst President in USA history. This is a declaration. Not only did Bush affiliate himself with 9-11 attacks (he knew it was gonna happen and told no one), he also was responsible for not reacting well with Hurricane Katrina, putting the USA in trillions of dollars of debt for a dumb war, and also can't spell or speak worth a damn!

Thoughts?
I notice many of you are just making ignorant one-liner statements, instead of thoughtfully reading what I have to say. Dumb Americans!
You know what? It really saddens me that I couldn't come on here and just say I love Obama without getting a bunch of asshole yahoo answerers to respond. Of COURSE you all have to hate Obama? Republicans, I knew it!

But guess what?

1) You voted for him. The majority of America did vote for Obama- he won by a landslide.

2) In 8 years Bush was in office, his approval ratings were worse each year. Nobody I talked to likes him. He became such a mockery, you can go to websites and see people making Bush-Talkers that say what you type in his voice. Bush rigged the first election (funny how one of the debating split-vote states was his hometown), didn't know how to speak, had a C average in college, I mean the list goes on. Yet you are dissing me for liking Obama?

Question #12:

Americans,What happened with the Olympic bid?

I'm a Brit and have to say Michelle Obama's little teary speech about her dad not seeing the Olympics made me feel sick,i had to turn off the TV immediately. it just seemed so fake, like they had rehearsed it on the way there.then Obama turning up last minute to try and sway the Olympic Committee just didn't cut it at the end of the day.

We Brits are holding the next Olympics in 2012,The Olympic commitee were falling over themselves to gives us the Games after meeting our lovely Queen.

Just what exactly is Obama bringing to the table?.is he destroying your Country?

Question #13:

Do you think the Obama's lost the IOC's confidence when they made their Egotistical speech's to the IOC panel?

Obama said the word, 'I' or 'me' (as in referring to himself) 23 times during his bid to get the Olympics.

Michelle said, 'I' or 'me' (referring to herself) 34 times during her speech.

They didn't talk about why AMERICA should get the Olympics they talked about why the Obama's should get the Olympics.

Obama's Trip to Copenhagen Cost $1 Million or More

Associated Press

Last update: October 2, 2009 - 4:53 PM

Chicago cost more than a bruised ego.

Taxpayers shelled out probably $1 million or more for the president, his wife and others to fly to Copenhagen and back to woo members of the International Olympic Committee.

A 2006 congressional study pegged the cost of flying Air Force One at $56,518 an hour. The Pentagon recently said it cost $100,219 an hour to fly the huge, reconfigured Boeing 747 without Obama aboard. The Pentagon estimate included more costs for support needs, such as maintenance.

At those rates, the president's 14-hour trip to Copenhagen and back cost about $790,000 to $1.4 million.

However, presidential travel requires additional spending, especially for security personnel and equipment. Also, first lady Michelle Obama and some administration officials traveled to Copenhagen at public expense ahead of the president.

The Copenhagen trip was not devoted entirely to the Olympics bid. Obama spent 25 minutes conferring with Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, his top Afghan war commander. McChrystal had been in London for a speech, and he made the relatively short trip to Denmark to meet with Obama.

Question #15:

Does CNN look like idiots for putting out this story?

They talk about how Michelle Obama "stole the show at copenhagen" about an hour before Chicago got ousted from the Olympics.
The writer of this story must have thought that after the speech we had the Olympics in the bag.......wrong. Here's an excerpt

Maybe that explains why the president seemed to snag the silver medal while first lady Michelle Obama, who's been in Copenhagen a couple of days, clearly took the gold

Question #18:

So, what really causes racism?

My answer to "dot" on this issue was immediately deleted. Therefore - here is my answer, that became a pseudo-question:
dot, hi...I agree with "bob" and "sound", but want to add something of historic perspective - for deeply dishonest and hateful, like "end", who answered you too. When arabs and others open a trade of slaves - slavery was a norm. As soon, as inappropriateness of slavery became obvious - the USA became the first of largest countries, who abolished slavery. For instance, slavery of masses for a government and it's ruling party, was still a norm in fascist soviet union until 1993... The modern racists are barry soturo, aka, hussein obama, his wife michelle (who expressed her racism and hatred of America in public speeches), sodomayer (a member of extreme racist organization "laRaza', whom hussein made a justice)...jeremiah wright, jessie jackson, al sharp-thug , and people like "end", who demand privileges and promotions based on their status of minorities. Minding you, I am a double minority, but I know better. I know why just as dark-skinned (as blacks are) immigrants from, say, India, don't whine or demand "reparations"... What about Jews, who were in slavery 10 times longer than blacks? LOL... Does islamic world gives them reparations? So-called "affirmative action" is illegal, repugnant action, which ruined future and hope of so many blacks... Just as repulsive and corrupt welfare system, who ruined millions of solid and good black families and created millions of fatherless children, without hope of future... Neo-liberalism, parasits and illegals are, in sum, those who created and are supporting modern racism. Thanks

Question #19:

Is Barack Obama the second coming of Woodrow Wilson?? (puppet for big bankers)?

I don't think any American administration since Woodrow Wilson (who signed the Federal Reserve act into law) has given more to big bankers than Barack Obama. And now Obama wants to give the Federal Reserve EVEN MORE POWER. Despite the fact the Federal Reserve recently lost a Freedom of Information lawsuit against Bloomberg for failing to reveal who they secretly loaned over $2 trillion too, or what they accepted as collateral. (Obama administration had no comment....lol)

What do you think??

The Federal Reserve, already arguably the most powerful agency in the U.S. government, will get sweeping new authority to regulate any company whose failure could endanger the U.S. economy and markets under the Obama administration's regulatory overhaul plan.

The final plan due to be released on Wednesday -- which originally aimed to streamline and consolidate banking and securities regulation in one or two agencies -- now is expected to sidestep most jurisdictional disputes and simply impose across the board standards to be applied by all financial regulators, according to administration and industry sources.

The U.S. has lent, spent or guaranteed $11.6 trillion to bolster banks and fight the longest recession in 70 years, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

That’s a 9.4 percent decline since March 31, when Bloomberg last calculated the total at $12.8 trillion.

The tally “ignores the fact that virtually all commitments are backed by assets,” Andrew S. Williams, a Treasury Department spokesman who had the same role at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York until earlier this year, said in an e- mail. “The Federal Reserve’s current ‘outlays’ are largely in the form of secured loans. The aggregate value of the collateral backing those loans exceeds the loan value. These are not ‘outlays.’”

Spokesmen Calvin A. Mitchell of the New York Fed and David Skidmore of the Fed in Washington declined to comment.

The Fed has refused to identify the collateral backing its loans. Bloomberg News parent Bloomberg LP, the New York-based company majority-owned by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, sued the central bank in November to force it to provide the information. U.S. District Judge Loretta A. Preska gave the Fed until Sept. 30 to appeal her decision requiring more disclosure about the financial institutions that have benefited.

Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- The Federal Reserve is refusing to identify the recipients of almost $2 trillion of emergency loans from American taxpayers or the troubled assets the central bank is accepting as collateral.

Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said in September they would comply with congressional demands for transparency in a $700 billion bailout of the banking system. Two months later, as the Fed lends far more than that in separate rescue programs that didn't require approval by Congress, Americans have no idea where their money is going or what securities the banks are pledging in return....................Federal Reserve spokeswoman Michelle Smith declined to comment on the loans or the Bloomberg lawsuit. Treasury spokeswoman Michele Davis didn't respond to a phone call and an e-mail seeking comment.

President-elect Barack Obama's economic adviser, Jason Furman, also didn't respond to an e-mail and a phone call seeking comment from Obama. In a Sept. 22 campaign speech, Obama promised to ``make our government open and transparent so that anyone can ensure that our business is the people's business.''

Last November, Bloomberg filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit that sought to force the Federal Reserve to disclose the companies that took advantage of its emergency lending programs. The Federal Reserve had refused to disclose the names of these companies, claiming that such a disclosure could scare shareholders and potentially spark a run on deposits held at these institutions.

Bloomberg countered that the American people had a right to know the names of these companies. After all, the public had become an "involuntary investor" in these companies because by way of the Fed's actions. Matthew Winkler, Bloomberg News' editor-in-chief, put it this way:

When an unprecedented amount of taxpayer dollars were lent to financial institutions in unprecedented ways and the Federal Reserve refused to make public any of the details of its extraordinary lending, Bloomberg News asked the court why U.S. citizens don’t have the right to know.

Question #20:

What is the Federal Reserve collecting as collateral if their $2 trillion secret loan isn't paid back?

Not only does the Federal Reserve REFUSE to disclose who they loaned $2 trillion to, they also will not disclose what collateral they were offered. Bloomberg filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit....AND WON. The Federal Reserve has until Sept. 30 to appeal.
