OK, I''m trying to solve a question that I thought would be easy, but I keep getting the wrong answer. I'm going to show you what I did:Question: "Troy bought a bag of 20 marbles for $2.00, a bag of 50 marbles for $4.00, and a bag of 100 marbles. If the average (arithmetic mean) cost of the marbles in all three bags was exactly $0.08 each, what was the price of the bag of 100 marbles?"
Here's what I did:
(2/20)/3+(4/50)/3+(x/100)/3 = .08 (.08 is the average of all the average prices of the marbles in each bag)
(2/20)+(4/50)+(x/100)=.24 (multiplying both sides by 3)
10/100+8/100+x/100 = .24 (common denominators)
10+8+x = 24
x=$6
The correct answer however is $7.60. It tells you why here:

...but I still have no idea why my process and its process give different answers. They both seem like they're doing the same thing.
Can someone please help me out?

But the times that they're not sleeping, what do they do?
Obviously, they're too young to play with anything.

For those who live in Oklahoma, i dont wanna diss you but... isnt "thunder" the lamess nick name you could ever come up for a team? it is just to childish. and the color... man that just wack. and i though the Charlot "Bobcat" was a bad nickname...
