Question #3:

Muslims, read these verses from Quran and just think of it...?

"32.2": The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds.

"32.3": Or do they say: He has forged it? Nay! it is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction.

Mohammad was sure that people would find the truth behind his book; that is why he added the above verse which says "Has he forged it"? If Quran was truly from God, I bet that such a statement would have never appeared because God does not give any importance to what people say and he is sure of what he is saying. But here, Mohammad is in doubt that people may find his forgery; Isn't it?

Girl 1: Has short honey blond hair with side bangs and pretty dark brown eyes. Me and my friend were just doing this for fun. We did the Pros together, but each of us did the other girl's cons. Tell us who you would rather hang out with, but no rude comments please and no saying stuff like "Call me!" or "Here's my e-mail!" because we're not looking for dates, we just want to see who is the most likable.

Question #10:

iPhone 4G release date?

When should the iPhone 4G be coming out? I read it should be out around June of 2010, due to the fact that each of the previous models have come out around this time. My contract is up around this time and I really want to upgrade from my 3G. What do you think?
Yeah... that first one has everything but the answer I was looking for. The second one.... perfect, short and simple.

Question #11:

Suppose a study were performed examining whether there is a significant difference...?

As to whether men and women have different aspirations in terms of what they want from their jobs/careers (such studies have been done). Then suppose these same studies showed, overwhelmingly, that a pattern exists where women value a clean and comfortable workplace in addition to extra time to spend with family at home to money whereas men prefer making more money in contrast to the work environment I described above.

Wouldn't it be common sense that the women, in this case, would earn less money as a group than this cohort of men? Such studies have been done and do, indeed, reflect precisely what I've described. Why do feminists continue to suggest that in light of this information, there exists some sort of wage gap that's based upon gender discrimination? Non feminists argue, routinely, that the difference in overall income between men & women is based upon factors unrelated to gender discrimination, i.e. the difference in earning exists, however the basis for it is NOT DISCRIMINATION, but rather it's fundamental differences in the PRIORITIES of women & men as they pertain to what they get from their work.

Moreover, here's another issue that I don't really get. A feminist posted this highly biased CNN article as evidence that there is "gender-based discrimination." But in the very body of the text it reads, "Despite the pay gap, according to several studies, women are actually more satisfied at work!"

Now, let's be frank here: how could so many women declare satisfaction with what they do if they're purportedly being discriminated against on something as basic as their paycheck? When will feminists stop this nonsense about widespread discrimination on the basis of gender and pointing to artificial statistics and anecdotal accounts which amount to nothing substantive? When will they start producing evidence in the form of well-performed studies where the most important confounding factors are controlled for?

When will feminists stop teaching such rubbish to young, easily persuaded young women who take this at face value and don't have the luxury of hearing opposing views which challenge such feminist dogma?
@millwoodsgal: With due respect, what could possess you to answer a question that you don't even understand? If you don't understand it, why not simply ignore it rather than offer something that doesn't help me?

@Libby, Thank you for your answer. May peace be upon you.
@Untamed Rose: I'm simply limiting this discussion to the purported wage gap between the genders. This question is not intended to discuss differences amongst ethnicities and such, just men and women, please.

Question #17:

Women ages 18-25: What age is officially "old" to you?

This a 2-part question. Yesterday, I overheard someone in a group of girls at B&N (who each couldn't have been any older than 18) say, "25 is old!" I'm standing there reading my magazine thinking, "Since when?? I didn't get that memo!" I'm not sure if she meant that age-wise or dating-wise. I'm 27, and I don't look, act, or feel a day older than 20. People at work treat me like a kid because they think I'm like anywhere from 18-22. Even when I'm sporting a beard.

But anyway, for women ages 18-25: A) What age is offically "old" to you? (for anyone period) and B) What age is "too old" as far as you being interested in an attractive guy?
Mae, your mom is only 36? Goodness gracious. It is time for me to get a HoverRound then.

Question #18:

CD scratched on the top?

I have a cd full of important documents that I saved after my old computer crapped out. I need to get a document from the CD but i noticed that the cd is scratched on the top (the colored part) and now my computer won't read the CD. Is there any way to fix this so the computer can read it?

Question #19:

How come a man needs to have money in order to have a girlfriend or wife?

Men need money so that they can have a wife or a gf. but women don't need such a thing, they just have to be a woman and men will want them. But women being materialistic want only money, why?

Dont't you guys get what im saying here, it feels like that men are nothing without money. Like a woman would go and marry a ugly rich guy over a handsome man who has a average job (lets say teacher). Why are men so judged on their materials not themselves like men judge women, we judge women on how they look like, what type of person they are, ok i admit it we do judge on how educated they are and what sort of job they do, but its not like women do, women take jobs and money as number one when judging men.

Why so mean to us, women? All we want is you, but you seem to only want us because of the materials we have, not because we are good looking or kind, funny, nice person.

I know all women aren;t like this, but everywhere you read articles its like "women want rich men, men want beautiful women". And theres another one saying beautiful women want it all, they want good looks, good money, commitment, everything.

why can women just tell us how they work and what they want, and be a little less materialist.

Question #20:

Do people actually text each other when they are at the same party?

Is this "normal" behaviour among kids these days (yes, I am an old(ish) guy compared to most people who ask questions in the dating category - so I am curious.

I read someone's question on here that explained how he was at a party with a girl - and that they "texted each other throughout the party." Seemed odd to me - but I didn't grow up with cell phones. Back in my day, you had to actually talk to people at parties.

Is this normal? Common? Am I an old fogey for not understanding?

Be kind - but honest.
